MOMBASA, Kenya, Oct 24- Detectives in Mombasa have arrested a man accused of stabbing his wife to death on Friday night.
The 30-year-old woman was found lying in a pool of her own blood at the couple’s rental house in Jomvu Sub County.
According to detectives and an incident report seen by Shahidi News, the man used the kitchen knife to kill his wife.
“It is not clear what prompted his heinous action,” a senior officer based in Mombasa and privy to the happenings told Shahid News.
An autopsy is set to be carried out on the body.
Police say they will charge the man with murder on Monday.
