NAIROBI, Kenya, October 27-A woman was on Tuesday arrested in Eldoret for allegedly killing her husband and keeping his body in the house for more than three days.
According to police, the deceased was stabbed in the stomach and tied on a bed, where he was left to die.
It is not yet clear under what circumstances it happened.
In her statement, the woman told police that they were “attacked by people who killed my husband and escaped.”
She is being held at Yamumbi Police station in Eldoret.
Police say she is being considered as the prime suspect in the death, even as investigations continue.
