MoH official who went missing last month found in a prayer centre

NAIROBI, Kenya, November 7- Detectives have found a woman who went missing a week ago, after leaving her Syokimau home for work.

Alice Wangui had an early morning appointment on October 29 according to family members, but since then, she never returned.

Her phone was off, causing fears over her welfare and safety.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Wangui was on Saturday traced to a prayer centre in Machakos County.

“Alice Wangui Githumbi has been traced to KAG Katoloni Prayer Centre, Machakos. It has been established that she checked in at the said center on October 29th, 2020,” the DCI said.

Wangui, 40, is a Ministry of Health worker.
