NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 19- A 40-year old woman was killed on Thursday in Nyamira County by her five brothers in-law, for reportedly stealing Sh5,000.
The cash is said to belong to her mother in-law.
Police are hunting down for the 5 brothers who according to Manga Sub-county Police Commander Francis Mwangangi fled to unknown location after committing the murder.
The incident happened at Sirate area in Mokomoni Village after the brothers, alongside their mother, sought services of a witchdoctor to help them unravel the mystery of the cash which had gone missing from their 75 year-old mother.
It was reported that the granny, Pamela Nyanchoka had complained that her Sh5,000 was stolen on November 11 by an unknown person.
That was when her sons sought help from the witch buster who implicated the deceased lady.
Mwangangi said police were investigating the matter and the suspects were being pursued for arraignment.
