ISIOLO, Kenya, Dec 11- Five people have been arrested in Isiolo County, after police recovered an AK47 rifle with 94 rounds of ammunition in a car they were boarding.
Also recovered were three AK 47 rifle magazines and a military pouch.
Detectives intends to undertake a ballistic analysis on the firearm.
The five were arrested in Garbatulla area during a day patrol along Tana-Barabate road.
It is not yet clear how they intend to use the firearm and whether it has been used to commit crimes in the area.
Isiolo has lately witnessed a rise in cases of crime.
