NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 22-Six boys were on Tuesday rescued from a senior police officer’s residence, where they had been sodomized for several days.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the officer is of the rank of a Chief Inspector.
He is the Officer Commanding Ntumu Police station.
“On arrival the team found six younger boys sleeping on the floor,” a police officer involved in the Tuesday morning rescue operation told Shahidi News.
The officer is being held at Chogoria Police station ahead of being charged in court.
“After interrogation the boys revealed that the said officer has been having carnal knowledge with them,” reads an incident report.
The said OCPP was arrested and placed in custody to be charged appear in court.

Lately, there has been a surge in such cases and more so during the COVID-19 pandemic that saw all schools closed.
