Form 3 student on the run after attacking school principal

KERICHO, Kenya, Jun 10- A form three student in Kericho County has gone missing, after he drove a four inch nail into the head of his school principal, in unclear circumstances.

According to witnesses and police, the school principal had asked the student to clear a fee balance amounting to Sh7,000.

The Principal, Geoffrey Rono of Ainamoi Secondary school was rushed to hospital following the Wednesday incident and is currently recuperating.

The student is said to have hit the teacher with a wooden plank that had a nail protruding from it.

According to authorities, the incident happened at the principal’s office at about 6.30pm.

The student is aged 18 years.
