NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 16- Police are holding a chinese national after he was found with five assorted guns in Nairobi’s Lavington area.
The man was first arrested at a roadblock on Mwingi-Nairobi highway where he was found with a pistol.
He then led the officers to a house in Lavington where more guns were seized with more than 200 bullets.
Police said even though the man is licensed to carry a weapon, it is not clear how he imported all the weapons recovered.
Police said the recovered M4 assault rifle,CZ-75 pistol , Taurus revolver and Taurus pistol from the suspect’s house located in Kaputei gardens.
His firearm license is said to have expired in 2018.
He is under interrogation to establish his motive.
