NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 22- All workers at the Kangemi construction site that collapsed on Tuesday evening have been accounted for.
The Kenya National Highways Authority said the incident happened amidst ongoing works along the James Gichuru – Rironi road project at Kangemi soil around the retaining wall for Kangemi Bridge collapsed and hurt three workers on site.
One of the workers on site was rushed to hospital and is in stable condition.
KENHA said two others survived the accident with minor injuries.
The authority has assured the country that it is keen to ensure that safety is a priority in all road projects.
