The body was moved to the mortuary.
Security has been heightened across the country following a surge in cases of crime.
According to Inspector General of Police, anti-mugging police unit has been deployed across all major towns in Kenya, to curb the vice.
With COVID-19 pandemic and a failing economy, the trend is unlikely to change according to security experts.
