NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 22- Police are investigating the abduction of an Ethiopian businessman from the streets in the Kileleshwa area, Nairobi.
Samson Teklemichael is missing since Friday when he was picked up by people believed to be police officers. A uniformed officer was present.
Other road users recorded the drama as he was picked from his car and later dragged into a waiting Subaru car. His wife Milen Mezgebo says she cannot locate him since then.
She said he called her as he was being taken away and later switched off.
The abductors left his car at the scene in Kileleshwa only for the wife to be informed by a friend that her husband’s car had been parked in the middle of the road. She later picked it up.
No contact has since been made to the family which is pleading with authorities to locate him.
He dealt with gas and oil products from Nairobi to Ethiopia. Police say they are investigating the incident.
