EMBU,Kenya, Dec, 10 – Detectives in Mbeere South,Embu County have launched a manhunt for a man suspected to be military officer said to be trafficking drugs within the local markets.
According to Mbeere South sub county police commander Gregory Mutiso detectives retrieved health documents indicating that the suspect could be a military officer. The health documents were from a renown military health facility.
“We raided the suspects house and found bhang worth an estimated street value of Sh 500,000,” sad Mutiso.
Police also recovered an assortment of items believed to have been used in the illicit trade including packing papers and knives.
surprisingly, police recovered a receipt of Sh,50,000 indicating that the man was out on bond after committing another offence.
Police officers from Kiritiri police station are pursuing the matter with youth being encouraged to refrain from used the drugs which have generated various areas within the count.
