TURKANA,Kenya, Dec, 16 – 45 year old Peter Lolimo was arrested Wednesday by police after being found in possession of a pistol and an assortment of government stores.
According to preliminary investigations,detectives were acting on a tip-off from members of the public when they raided his home in Kanamkemer ward, in Turkana county.
The matter was reported at the Lodwar police station.
Upon a search at this premises, police recovered a luger Pistol with a fully loaded magazine, a pistol holster and a pair of handcuffs.
Also confiscated were several disciplined service personnel uniforms and an american jungle uniform.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing with the suspect set to be arraigned.
