36 Arrested At KDF Recruits Training School In Eldoret Over Fake Documents

UASIN GISHU,Kenya, Dec, 20 – During the admission of thousands of recruits who successfully obtained admission at the KDF Recruit Training School, Eldoret, 36 youth were arrested after being found in possession of fake documents.

The 36 claimed to have gained admission at the prestigious training school but were quickly spotted to have been in possession of fake admission documents.

More than 3,000 recruits were Sunday received at the Eldoret training school where they will commence their training on joining the country’s defence forces.

In their defence before the head of Defence Headquarters Chief of Personnel Brigadier Elijah Gatere, the suspects claimed to have gone through the basic training and were equally shocked as to why they received fake documents.

“They were apprehended by military police and handed over to the National Police Service for interrogation and further action” said KDF.

According to the KDF more recruits are expected to arrive at the training school up to Decemer,26,2021.
