KIAMBU,Kenya, Dec, 21 – DCI detectives have arrested a man suspected to have killed 69 year-old Nagis Abdallah Fateh days after he was reported missing by his family.
According to preliminary reports, police pursuing the suspect identified as Abdul Majid Nagib Abdalla traced him to Juja town in Kiambu county.
Detectives from Mombasa were coordinating search efforts with the counterparts in Nairobi.
The deceased, is said to have served in the U.A.E millitary at one point.
Hi body was found brutally dismembered and put inside a sack. It was found near a toilet at a building in Bondeni area of Mombasa county.
The motive of the murder is yet to be established.
The suspect was escorted to Mombasa this Tuesday morning ahead of a planned arraignment.
He will however first be subjected to psychiatrist test to determine whether he is fit to stand trial.
