NAIROBI,Kenya, Jan, 17 – ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi has urged Kenyans to exercise patience and sobriety ahead of the Amani National Congress Party’s National Delegates Congress that will take place on January,23, 2022 at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi.

Speaking when he attended a church service at the Pentecostal Assemblies of God, P.A.G Church in Ikonge, North Mugirango Constituency in Nyamira County, the ANC Boss hinted that he will be making a major national address on that day, in a move that he has described will change the political landscape in the country ahead of the August 9th General Elections.

“Next Sunday the ANC Party will be making a major stand on where we want to take this country if Kenyans hand us the mandate to lead this nation on August 9th 2022. I will deliver a national message that will be like an earthquake in the politics of Kenya.” Said Mudavadi.

“I want all Kenyans to be keen on that day and follow through my message. This will be a defining moment for this country and those who are doubting will be shocked by how I will change the tone of the political landscape in the country.” Added Mudavadi.

The ANC party leader was quick to point out that Kenya needs a leadership that will help move the country to the next level hinting out that the revival of the economy, creation of jobs and making sure that every livelihood matter, must be top of the agenda of the next government that will take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime.

“We need a leadership that will work for the people of Kenya without any form of discrimination. Leaders should make sure that the policies they are anchoring on while they campaign are policies that will help Kenyans get money in their pockets, and food on the table” Said Mudavadi.

Mudavadi wants Kenyans to remain focused ahead of the campaign period and all through to the elections saying that the unity of the country will go a long way in defining the future of this country. He has called upon politicians to make sure that they carry on peaceful campaigns and seize of making pronouncements that are insightful or those that can fuel ethnic hatred and tension.

“Let us remain united as a country, work together and compete in ideas and ideologies. We must talk and reason together. Leaders should convince Kenyans by logic of their arguments but not by the might of their offices.” Said Mudavadi.

Mudavadi who was accompanied by Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo, Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja and West Mugirango Member of Parliament Vincent Kemosi, later made stop overs at Ikonge Market, Isinta and Ogongo Towns in Nyamira county.

Senator Sakaja and Governor Nyaribo on their part called on Kenyans to put all leaders on the radar and keenly scrutinize their policies before making any decisions on the ballot.

“We need to interrogate the leaders we are going to vote in office. When you see me walking with Musalia Mudavadi that is the message I am sending. We need to vote in leaders whose integrity is not questionable.” Said Sakaja.

“Do not worry leadership is not position but influence. We want Mudavadi to take us towards a direction that every Kenyan will feel comfortable and accommodated. The language that we will be speaking is the language of the common man and woman, the mwananchi language.” Added Sakaja

The ANC National Delegates Congress, NDC, will be a platform where the congress will ratify the earlier endorsement made by the Amani Council to declare Musalia Mudavadi as the party’s flag bearer in the August 9th 2022 Presidential Elections.

This will help in giving Mudavadi the mandate to negotiate with other like-minded leaders and parties in the quest that ANC will feel it needs to get into a pre-elections or post-elections coalition with any other party.

“I want to tell Mudavadi that nobody should coerce him to work with either leader x or y. The message he has been advocating for in terms of freedom of expression and association as anchored in our constitution should be safeguarded and protected.” Said Senator Sakaja

Anybody including me is free to meet everybody and anywhere. If I meet that person, I will not shy away that I have met the person. The freedom of association should not become a political ventilator for Kenyans. Kenyans are free to go to any part of this country and they should not be seeking permission from anybody.” Said Mudavadi

Mudavadi will also use the opportunity to launch the party’s manifesto that is anchored on the economy that works for all, a better economy and money in the pocket mantra.

ANC Party will then become the first party to launch its 2022 elections manifesto which will guide the policy and roadmap for the party.
