MURANGA, Kenya, Jan 17- Police are investigating an incident in which two students at Michuki Technical School in Muranga County drowned in River Mathioya following a freak accident.
According to an incident report seen by Shahidi News, the students had got for a photo shoot along the banks of the river.
During the photoshoot, one of the students, a girl, slipped and fell inside the ranging waters.
Her colleague, a young man, jumped in the water to try and save her but the strong current swept them away.
Police are set to grill witnesses over the incident.
