NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 18- Several structures were on Monday evening burnt down in yet another fire incident at Gikomba market, Nairobi.
The fire spread from one structure to another, causing massive losses.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
Fire incidents have been rampant in the area amidst calls to find a solution to the same.
Police said there was no injury in the incident.
The government has in the past talked of plans to modernize the market, but that has only remained a promise.
Efforts to end the worrying trend that has in the past claimed lives seem to be futile.
