Shock As Body Of A Woman Found Stashed In A Suitcase. Body Had A Written Message

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 18-Residents of Ruiru were on Monday left in shock after they discovered a body of a woman dumped outside the General Service Unit Recce squad base in Kimbo area in Ruiru, Kiambu County.

The woman was hacked to death, police said.

The body of the young woman believed to be in her early twenties had been stashed in a suitcase with her hands tied from behind.

The body had a written message suspected to be from the killers that read “bwana ya mtu ni sumu”.

Police said the woman might have been killed elsewhere and dumped alongside the perimeter wall of the highly guarded GSU Recce squad base.

According to locals, the body was discovered at around 5.30 pm by pedestrians who notified the police.

The body was transferred to the City Mortuary as investigations continue.
