NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 21- A woman whose body was found stashed in a suitcase near the General Service Unit elite squad camp in Juja, near Kimbo, was a petrol attendant in Ruiru.

Detectives have since identified the deceased as 18-year-old Esther Wambui.

The family members helped in the identification process.

According to police, the woman had gone missing for days, before her body was found dumped not so long away from her workstation.

“We are yet to arrest anyone but investigations are ongoing,” a senior detective privy to the ongoing investigations told Shahidi News.

Her husband, identified as Joseph Ngige has since been questioned over the brutal killing.

They worked together in the same police station.

Her body had been badly mutilated and had writings on her chest.

“Bwana ya mtu ni sumu,” reads the writings.

The family has called on detectives to expedite their investigations and ensure those behind the killing are brought to book.
