MIGORI,Kenya, Feb, 4 – Migori County Assembly Speaker Boaz Okoth was Thursday arraigned after being accused of breaking into the county’s finance office.
He was presented before Migori High Court Chief Magistrate Dikson Onyango after being arrested on February,2,2022.
The accused was arraigned alongside seven other suspects.
They are facing three counts including: breaking into the county finance office, stealing items worth Sh100,000 including three computers, one CPU, two monitors, finance files after being found in possession of them.
Boaz alongside the seven pleaded not guilty to the charges and were released on Sh200,000 bond or a surety of Sh100,000.
The case will now be mentioned on February, 17,2022.
