NAIROBI,Kenya, Feb, 21 – Police In Nairobi’s Githogoro slums Monday arrested four people after they were accused of lynching a man for allegedly having sexual intercourse with one of the suspect’s wife.
According to preliminary reports, the deceased is said to have snuck into one of the suspect’s home where he was found ‘soliciting’ for sex.
Police say that the woman’s husband was not at home at he time but when he later returned, he shouted for help upon which an angry mob descended to his house.
They are said to have lynched the man despite his attempts to clear the air on what had allegedly transpired.
The four are currently in police custody amidst investigations.
Police have condemned such incidents terming them as criminal in nature.
