NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 2- The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced the closure of a section of Eastern Bypass starting tomorrow March 3 to May 3, pending the ongoing road construction.
KURA, in a statement, said a section of the overpass at Kangundo road junction would be blocked for motorists beginning Thursday.
The authority explained that the move was due to the ongoing upgrade of the bypass to a dual carriageway that connects Thika Road to Mombasa Road.
Road users are urged to exercise caution while approaching the area and also adhere to traffic guidelines, in a bid to pave through the busy highway with ease.
