    Nanny Charged With Stealing 3 Mobile Phones From Employer In Kileleshwa

    NAIROBI,Kenya, Apr, 6 – Consolata Khashiyi Lisanza, a house help was arraigned at the Kibera law courts and charged with stealing 3 mobile phones worth Sh270,000 from her employer.

    The accused who was arraigned before senior principal magistrate Esther Bhoke pleaded guilty while saying that she only stole two mobile phones.

    The incident is said to have occurred on diverse dates between March 14 and April 3, 2022 in kileleshwa,Nairobi county.

    The victim, Sabina Kanini Mutia said that the accused committed the theft and resigned just two weeks after being employed.

    She claimed that she had been summoned by her mother for family reasons.

    Before leaving, the victim demanded to check whether she had left everything intact and it was at that point that she discovered her mobile phones were missing.

    Lisanza then admitted to have stolen the phones and even selling them in Kawangware.

    The matter was reported at the Kileleshwa police station.

    She was released on a surety bond of Sh300, 000 and an alternative cash bail of Sh100, 000.

    The case will be mentioned April 19,2022.
