NAROK, Kenya, Jul, 21 – Three people were killed and seven others injured after a matatu collided with a lorry at Kipturgut area, Mulot, on the Narok- Kisii highway.
According to preliminary reports, Police quickly responded to the incident as ambulance services were dispatched to transport the injured to various hospitals.
The accident occurred after the matatu driver attempted to evade hitting a bodaboda operator infront of him before swerving multiple times on the road before hitting an oncoming lorry in the opposite direction.
The vehicle rolled into a ditch.
Police said that the matatu was ferrying 10 people at the time of the incident. The public service vehicle was heading towards Narok town.
