NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 30- Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance led by its Presidential Candidate William Ruto after his Mombasa bid came to a halt.
Sonko was in the Wiper Party which is part of the Raila Odinga-led Azimio la Umoja Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
His woes started after the Supreme Court declared him unfit to hold any public office, following his impeachment as City Governor.
He has since entered into a post-election deal with UDA’s gubernatorial candidate Hassan Omar.
