NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug, 4 – Stephen Nzuki Mutisya, the director of a children’s home has been sentenced to 100 years in jail for defiling minors under his care for about six years.

Appearing before Nairobi senior principal Magistrate Zainab Abdul the accused was found guilty of the defilement charges with court documents revealing he committed the unthinkable between 2010 and 2016.

The minors are said to have been between the ages of nine and seventeen at the time.

“The court has considered the victim impact report which was filed before this court, the victims were grateful with the conviction of the accused person by this court and have asked the court to give the accused a custodial sentence” ruled the magistrate.

While expanding on the impact of the abuse on the minors, the magistrate said that the ruling should serve as a warning and deter others from committing such offenses.

The court said that it was proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Nzuki committed the offenses since he was easily identified by the minors.

Shamelessly the accused is said to have quoted several verses of the bible to the minors in an attempt to justify his despicable acts.
