MURANG’A, Kenya, Aug, 12 – Kiharu Member of National Assembly Ndindi Nyoro has retained his seat after garnering a total of 68,256 votes.
Nyoro who was vying on a UDA ticket becomes the first Kiharu MP to retain this seat since the onset of multi-party democracy.
The Kiharu race had five other candidates among them Karanja Mburu of Jubilee party who came second with 9425 votes and Judy Makira who was third with 1391 votes.
Nyoro thanked the electorate for giving them the mandate to represent them in parliament for a second term.
