WEST POKOT, Kenya, Aug, 30 – David Pkosing successfully defended his Pokot South parliamentary seat after defeating UDA’s Simon Kalekem.
According to IEBC, Pkosing garnered 28,225 votes, while Kalekem got 15,298 votes.
James Lopoyetum who was an Independent candidate garnered 2,677 votes.
46,200 out of the 58,409 registered voters in Pokot South cast their ballots.
Pkosing ran on a Kenya Union Party ticket. He will be serving his second term.
