Tiaty MP William Kamket Ditches Azimio For Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Coalition

NAIROBI.Kenya, Sept, 1 – Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket has crossed the political divide to Join William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza.

Kamket who won re-election on a KANU party ticket held talks with Ruto at his Karen residence on Thursday signaling his exit from Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Coalition.

A close ally of the independence party leader Gideon Moi, Kamket has long been a critic of Ruto in the North Rift region though his move now signals the beginning of a new political alliance.

Ruto in a tweet welcomed him and said that they would work together to realize their economic objectives for Kenyans.
