NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept, 8 – Amid forging allegations of his academic papers, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi on Wednesday failed to tuen up in court.
Appearing before trial magistrate Felix Kombo, his lawyers told the court that the accused was involved with the Assumption of Office Committee that is preparing for the swearing-in of President-elect William Ruto next week Tuesday.
He is represented by lawyers, Thomas Ruto, Collins Kiprono, and George Wajakoyah.
The further sought to have the case proceed in his absence.

During the case, the Primary School where Sudi claimed to have obtained his KCPE certificate also claimed that he never finished his class eight there.
He is further said to have dropped out at class seven.
“The accused had enrolled in that school as a pupil from standard six to seven but did not clear his primary level in the said school,” said Simon Cherop a teacher at Tulwopng’etuny Primary school.
A document verification officer and an investigating officer with the DCI are yet to testify on the case.
The case has now been adjourned to November 22, 2022.
