NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 20- Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti’s personal assistant Mohamed Roba has been elected speaker in Isiolo County.
He was elected unopposed by all 18 Members of the Isiolo County Assembly.
The youthful speaker is a close friend of Governor Abdi Hassan Guyo- who was formerly an MCA, based in Nairobi.
“We will focus on bills that are likely to transform the people’s lives and support our communities within the far-flung areas,” said the new speaker.
Governor Guyo said hailed the elected speaker as a hard worker, who will put the interest of the people first.
“As Isiolo County governor, I have tremendous faith that you will serve the people of Isiolo County with purpose and distinction,” he said.
