NAIROBI, Kenya, sept, 22 – Two people among them a University student sustained injuries after being ambushed by robbers along Rhino Park Road in Karen on Wednesday evening.
According to preliminary reports, the two were currently nursing their injuries were threatened at gunpoint by two gunmen aboard a motorcycle.
The gunmen demanded cash from the two as the other victim, an electrician resisted their attempts to futility. He was shot on his cheek as his bag containing his tools of trade was stolen.
The university student was meanwhile injured on his forehead from being assaulted as his mobile and wallet were also stolen from him.
The gunmen fled shortly after on their motorcycle as the two were rushed to a hospital in Karen.
Police have since launched a manhunt for the assailants.
