NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept, 22 – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) officials alongside anti-narcotics officers arrested a Singaporean national who was found with four kilograms of heroin before his anticipated travel to Singapore via way of Dubai.
According to preliminary reports, a routine search of his luggage saw police recover the illegal drugs that were concealed in a false compartment in his suitcase.
Police are now set to interrogate the man, identified as Rahmat Mohd Noor, 57 year old before his arraignment.
The source of the drugs is also yet to be established.
Just last month, police at JKIA arrested another person amid efforts to traffick two kilograms of heroin to the Netherlands.
