Interior PS Nominee Raymond Omollo Is Worth Sh450 Million

NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 14 – The Principal Secretary (PS) nominee for the Interior Ministry Raymond Omollo has told Members of Parliament that he is worth Sh450 million.

Omollo who is currently the Managing Director at the Lake Basin Authority said that his wealth comprises pieces of land in Homabay, Kajiado, Machakos and Nairobi counties.

He said his wealth also comes from properties, farming, mining, shares in various companies and money market fund savings.

Omollo was appearing before the National Assembly Administration and Internal Affairs Committee.

If approved he will replace Karanja Kibicho in the critical docket which deals with security matters within the country.

Under the Interior Ministry, he will be one of three PS’s working under the Cabinet Secretary Professor Kindiki Kithure.
