HOMA BAY, Kenya, Nov 17 – Police in Mbita Sub County in Homa Bay County are investigating an incident where the armoury of Kipasi Police Post was broken into and weapons stolen.
According to a police report, in the incident which took place in the early hours of Thursday morning, November 17, the burglars took three G3 riffles, an AK47 and 110 rounds of ammunition.
Police say that the burglar gained access by cutting the rear window of the main building which houses the armoury and the riffle box.
The incident was discovered at around 7am by an officer who was reporting for duty.
