NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 17 – Police on Wednesday night recovered the body of a Chinese national and game trophies from a house in Sunshine Court, Valley Arcade.
A police report shows that a report was made at the Muthangari Police Station and upon Police gaining entry into the house they discovered the body of Yang Changgui, 58 which had no visible injuries save for a surgery scar on his pelvis.
Police say that they recovered drugs from the scene.
During a further search of the house, police recovered 78 pieces of elephant Ivory, two pieces of ivory sculptures, two pieces of rhino horns, 160 pieces of lion claws, a piece of animal skin and 65 pieces of lion teeth.
Police also recovered two bank cheques, a printer, an electric and two phones. Also, recovered were a bank receipt, two sets of communication gadgets, a seal belonging to Huang Xiang Development Limited and two sets of stamps belonging to Hua Xoang Development Limited.
Changgui’s body was taken to the Chiromo mortuary where an autopsy is expected to take place.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations officers from Dagorreti are investigating the incident.
