NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 29 – The Chief Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, visited the Kilimani Primary School in Nairobi.
Mudavadi was overseeing the second day of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya primary school education assessment (KPSEA) examination.
He called on Kenyans to be patient with the new system of education in the country and leave for its determination by the task force formed by President William Ruto.
Mudavadi said that the task force is better placed to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the system and give out a suggestion.
The Chief Prime minister said that after the task force finalizes its work it will hand over the report to President William Ruto, where there will be room for the country to determine its suitability.
The report by the task force will be presented to President Ruto on Friday, December 2.
The task force was appointed by the President on September 30 and is headed by Prof.Raphael Munavu.
“I am not an expert in education so let’s give a chance and room for the task force appointed to determine whether the system is good or bad,” said Mudavadi.
