NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 14 – The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced that fuel prices will remain unchanged for the next 30 days in its monthly review.
A review of the prices will be announced on January 14, 2023, where the prices may rise, go down or remain the same.
Last month, EPRA said that the reduction was a result of a decrease in the average landed cost of imported super petrol.
The authority said that the government had maintained a subsidy of Sh17.68 per litre of kerosene to cushion Kenyans from high prices.
In Nairobi, a litre of petrol will continue retailing at Sh177.30, diesel (Sh162.00) and kerosene (Sh145.94).
In Mombasa, a litre of petrol will be (Sh174.98) diesel (Sh159.76) and kerosene (Sh143.69).
In Kisumu, a litre of petrol will cost (Sh177.50), diesel (Sh162.70) and kerosene (Sh146.66).
In Nakuru, a litre of petrol will sell at (Sh176.62), diesel (Sh161.83) and kerosene Sh145.79.
