NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 16 – A 22-year-old woman is a critical condition at a city hospital after she allegedly jumped from the sixth floor of a building in Parklands area, Nairobi.
It is suspected the woman who lives in the said with her sister was attempting to take her own life. She has since been identified as Ann Wanjiku.
Reports from police and her neighbours indicate that she left her sibling on early Thursday and jumped where she landed on vehicles in the parking lot of the apartment.
She had authored two suicide notes, one directed to her employer and the other to her family and said to have sent her sister a text message on where to find them.
Elsewhere in Ruai, Police have found the body of a man who had been missing for five days in his house.
Reports show that the body of John Muchiri Ngugi, 26, was found after neighbours called in police officers following a foul smell coming out of his house.
When police broke in, they found his body dangling from the roof.
