KISII, Kenya, Jan 20 – Six people have been rushed to the Keroka Sub County Hospital after the vehicle they were travelling in got involved in an accident along the Kisii-Kericho highway.

Police say a matatu rammed into a bus at the Ribwago area between Kisii and Keroka. The bus was headed to Kisii while the matatu was going the opposite direction.

“The injured passengers were rushed to Keroka Sub County hospital. Six of them got injured,” said Keroka deputy traffic commander Fred Obadiah.

“We are working closely with the Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA), to ensure traffic rules and regulations are adhered to,” he said.
