    Cardinal Otunga Mosocho Boys Student Tops In Kisii County

    KISII, Kenya, Jan 21 – Celebration rocked the Cardinal Otunga Mosocho High School in Kisii after the school regained its old glory by posting impressive results with a mean of 10.76, making it the top school in Kisii County.

    The school had 330 candidates in the 2022 KCSE exams, of these 28 students scored A, 201 students had A- while 97 students scored B+, three students scored B and the last student scored B-

    Cardinal posted the most exemplary results in 2022 KCSE results which have never been recorded in the last ten years.

    The school mean score has been improving gradually whereby it recorded a mean of 7.2 in 2021 results.

    “Last year we worked as a team and its teamwork, we invested a lot in our boys,” said the school principal Crispinous Owino.

    Owino noted, this is the best class the school had and through discipline and hard work, they anticipated the best grades.

    The principal said they are ready to take  Cardinal Otunga Mosocho back to where it belongs and they already set the pace.

    “We want to thank all stakeholders, our students, the church, parents and the ministry for teamwork,” Said Owino.

    He noted they had anticipated these results and it all came through teamwork and the teachers were cooperative and ready to  Sacrifice.

    “We finished our syllabus in the first term and all through the year we were doing revision,” said the school principal.

    It has been our dream to take Cardinal back to where it belongs, for those who remember well this school was the best in the region.

    Joseph Momanyi a student said they never lost hope and they always wanted to take the school back to its glory.

    ” We used to look back at the results of our alumni and this motivated us, we had that energy to work hard and bring the glory back, Said Momanyi.
