MIGORI, Kenya, Feb 27 – A man aged 46 was killed by suspected robbers who made away with 18 motorcycles and 30 mobile phones in a robbery incident in Total area, Suna West, Migori County.
The Migori County Police Commander Mark Wanjala said the body has since been identified as that of a watchman going by the name James.
His injured body was found in front of a shop that the robbers had broken into during the incident.
According to Wanjala, James had been attacked by robbers, which they suspect to be an organized gang operating in the area.
He says police are yet to identify them but have already launched investigations into the incident appealing to the public to volunteer information that will aid in the investigation.
He assured the locals of their security despite the incident saying that police had heightened night patrols in the region.
