KIAMBU, Kenya, Mar 6 – Police in Kiambu County are investigating an incident where the body of a 23-year-old woman was found in a lodging in Githunguri.
Her body was discovered by attendants who called the police the scene. The cause of her death is unknown and police have since arrested the man who had booked the room with her.
In a separate incident, a man was found dead in his home in Woodley Estate, Nairobi.
The deceased who was identified as John Edgar Obok, 58, was undergoing treatment for high blood pressure and stomach ailment.
The cause of death is unknown, and his body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
In Lunga Lunga slums, a three-month-old child was found dead in their house. The child was sleeping when the parents discovered him.
The cause of death is being investigated, and the body has since been moved to the mortuary.
In Mathare slums, the body of a man was found on the roadside with a stab wound in his left thigh.
His identity is not yet known, police say that they are investigating the matter and have since moved the body to the City Mortuary pending an autopsy.
