Two National Government Administration officers have been arrested after they were found with question papers and answers for exams they were undertaking at the Nairobi Technical Training Institute in Pangani, Nairobi.
The two administrators, both Assistant County Commissioners (ACCs), were arrested on Wednesday April 19 after they were found with papers for all the eight subjects they were supposed to undertake.
The centre coordinator Magret Wairimu Kungu from the Public Service Commission (PSC) reported to the police about the exam malpractice and the local Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) John Kisango.
The official and officers rushed to the scene where they established that Lukhalo Pascilisa Minayo, an ACC attached to Mwala DCC had the materials on her mobile phone and a small handwritten paper.
Another administrator, Nuriah Muhammud Yusuf also an ACC attached to DCC Kasarani had examination materials on her mobile phone and a note book with questions and answers.
“The exhibits have been detained and the candidates arrested,” Starehe police commander said.
