Retired Anglican Archbishop Eliud Wabukala on Tuesday advised Christians to strictly adhere to Bible teachings as a way of avoiding being confused by some “rogue” pastors in the country.
Speaking at Ruthimitu Mixed Secondary School in Nairobi during the launch of the school alumni chapter and career day, Wabukala said the Shakahola massacre was a clear indication that the followers of controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie had been indoctrinated.
The Archbishop together with Captain Mark Koross of the Kenya Airways urged the students to work hard in school and not rely on free things as some fake preachers were using such to lure people to join their cults.
Wabukala called for proper use of social media warning that if misused, could contribute to social decay
Captain Koross who is also a chief pilot instructor at Wilson Airport’s Westrift Aviation on his part called on the youth in the country to desist from the use of drugs.
“There`s no championship in drug use or participating in criminal activities. You will only be awarded gold, bronze, silver or certificate if you work hard in academics or sports,” he told the students.
