Rwandan Woman Dies at a Bus Stop in Nairobi

NAIROBI, Kenya May 9 -Police in Nairobi have launched investigations after a foreign national was found dead at a waiting bay of a bus stop in Muthurwa area, Nairobi city.
The lifeless body of the woman who was identified by the police as a Rwandan national was found by touts while seated at the waiting bay with a piece of luggage next to it.
Using a passport found in her pockets, police identified the dead as Dancila Niharabimana who was alone at the time of the Saturday incident.
Curious touts who had noticed that she was not moving, went to check on her only to find her dead while seated.
There was a sombre atmosphere amongst those going about their business in the area, with some saying they had been left stunned and saddened at what had happened.
Police say that she had no company at the time that she was found dead and that the Rwandan Embassy had been notified to alert her next of kin of the tragic news.
Police removed the body to the mortuary pending autopsy and further probe on the cause of death.
