NAROK Kenya March 25 -An Inspector of Police attached to Narok Traffic department was on Monday killed when his car was involved in a head on collision with a lorry on the Narok-Bomet road.
Inspector Calvins Ochieng Onganda, the Narok Traffic deputy Base Commander, was driving from Bomet when his car collided with an oncoming lorry as he was attempting to overtake another vehicle.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles landed on the right side of the road.
Police said Onganda sustained serious injuries on both his legs and chest and died on the spot.
Elsewhere, Kibra police station commander (OCS) also died at the Karen hospital where he has been undergoing treatment.
Chief Inspector Samuel Chiro had been admitted in hospital on referral from Nairobi Adams Arcade Branch for chest examination when he died March 24, police said.
