KIAMBU, Kenya, Jan 2- Five members of a family were on Saturday morning found dead in their house in Githurai 45, Kiambu County.
According to police, the five are a couple and their three children.
Ruiru Sub County Commander Phineas Ringera said the preliminary assessment of the scene has revealed they inhaled carbon monoxide.
He told Shahidi News that police found a Jiko in the house.
“The jiko is believed to have been the source of the carbon monoxide,” he said, while assuring investigations were underway.
All the five bodies have been moved to the morgue.
