NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 26- A police officer suspected of defiling his 16-year-old sister-in-law has been arrested, awaiting to be charged in court on Monday.
The rogue officer is being held at the Kayole Police Station- where is based.
The incident happened on Friday morning at his Matopeni area residence according to a police report seen by Shahidi News.
The minor was undertaking her personal chores when the officer attacked her and then left for work.
“She informed her sister, and then they reported the incident to police,” a police officer based at Kayole Police Station where the incident was reported said,
A medical report confirmed that the girl was defiled. She was discharged after treatment.
The accused is a police sergeant.
